Genesis 2:22-24 

The LORD God then built the rib that he had taken from the man into a woman. When he brought her to the man, the man said: "This one, at last, is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; This one shall be called 'woman' for out of man this one has been taken."
That is why a man leaves his father and mother and clings to his wife, and the two of them become one body.

Guidelines for the Sacrament of Marriage

• Initial visit with the priest
• Bring original birth certificate
• Baptismal and Confirmation Certificates
• Attend weekend Pre-Cana Retreat
• Attend Natural Family Planning Classes
• Affidavit of Free Status
• Obtain a marriage license two weeks prior to your wedding date. 
• All required paperwork should be dated within the 6 months of the wedding date and turned in to the parish office 30 days prior to the wedding.  Couples from a different Diocese must submit packet 30 days prior to the wedding to the Diocese of Laredo Tribunal Office 1901 Corpus Christi Laredo, TX. 78043
