The finance council is governed, in addition to universal law, by norms issued by the diocesan bishop and in which the Christian faithful, selected according to these same norms, are to assist the pastor in the adminstration of the goods of the parish, without prejudice to the prescript of can.
Members advise and consult with the parish pastor and manager regarding ongoing financial status of the parish, budgeting, project, and etc.
All members shall be freely appointed by the pastor.
The finance council works hand in hand with the pastoral council.
