CCD Preparation for the 1st Eucharist

The CCD Program is intended for Children from 2nd-8th grade.                      St. Patrick Catholic Church gives children a place to learn about God and their religion; to grow emotionally and spiritually; and to have fun while forming friendships that can last a lifetime.  

By offering opportunities for religious education, spiritual formation and for social development, St. Patrick hopes to encourage young children to be fully involved in parish life as they grow.  By focusing not only on the spiritual, but also the social component by forming community as one church.

First Year Preparation  
Second Year Holy Communion 

Requirements for Receiving the 1st Holy Communion

• Attend 2 consecutive years of preparation classes at St. Patrick.
• All absences must be previously approved and make up work must be turned in. Students must have no more than 3 absences.
• Attend mass all Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation and checking attendance with their personal student code. 
• Be actively enrrolled and participating in our Family of Faith program.
• Attend the retreat on their 2nd year of preparation classes.
• Pass the end of the year assessment.
